Overview

Vault was a cryptographic exercise. Vault 2 is very similar to the first version, except it has additional features and uses Account Manager 4.

Admissions

Like Vault 1, Vault 2 is a reference implementation to test various Account Manager 4 features. It is an Explorer, an encryptor, an image browser, et cetera.

Version 2 includes a number of features related to image galleries, more tag enhancements, and image labelling (including hypnotic labels, as a flight of fancy).

Performance

Setup and file copy operations were improved for .NET 2.0 with better bulk insert handling in Account Manager 4.

Setup

Similar to Version 1, except the database and product account configuration may now be made in the application configuration. This makes it easy to use Vault as an Explorer for current Account Manager 4 projects, such as exploring user data in a Core Web installation.
