Summary:
In the latter half of the nineteenth century, Cain was a feared gunfighter known as the leading cause of ghost towns.
His desire for a peaceful life is impossible given his sordid past and his inability to remember the bad things he believes he did.
Now, his tribal friends of the Palouse have begged him to right a wrong brought against the tribes by the US Cavalry.
Cain feels he is indebted to the tribes and rides to confront the Cavalry.
And his past is riding right behind him.
Blood of the Lamb is slated for publication in A Clear Horizon.
