Engine Demonstration #6 is Part #3 in a short series of demonstrations on using Engine to create a shopping transaction. A shopping transaction is being defined as a customer browsing or searching through a list of products, selecting ones they want by adding them to a shopping cart, and making the purchase. Part #3 combines Part #1 and Part #2 with a simple Task for tracking the progress of the shopping transaction.

The files required for this demonstration are as follows:

The purpose of this demonstration is to show a simple example of a shopping transaction using the Engine for Web Applications. The objective of separating much of the content into separate files was to address scalability. In otherwords, the UI created on this page could be created also for a down-level browser with little extra effort, except in a more classic page-by-page style.

If the engine is not started text does not vanish, you may be using an unsupported browser or there may be a bug in the software.
